Novel Writing: 11/5-6 @ the Loft!

Just in time for National Novel Writing Month you can attend the Loft Literary Center's Novel Writing Conference from November 5-6th at the Loft Literary Center at 1011 Washington Avenue South in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pam Houston is this year's keynote speaker in addition to Matt Burgess, David Oppegaard, and other award winning novelists and publishers.

Pam Houston is the award-winning author of Cowboys Are My Weakness, Waltzing the Cat, A Little More About Me, and Sight Hound. Her stories have been selected for the Best American Short Stories, the O. Henry Awards, the Pushcart Prize, and the Best American Short Stories of the Century. Pam teaches in the graduate writing program at University of California, Davis. Her new collection of short stories, Contents May Have Shifted, is forthcoming in 2012.

Incorporated in 1975, The Loft Literary Center is the nation’s largest independent literary center. The Loft supports the artistic development of writers, fosters a writing community, and builds an audience for literature. Thousands of students register for Loft creative writing courses each year; thousands more participate in Loft readings and other events.
